Brief info

Pastor Matt has served Evergreen Baptist Fellowship as pastor since September 2015. After completing his Bachelor of Science in Religion, he attended Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in Virginia where he completed his Masters of Divinity. His motivation in life is to glorify God the Father through submitting to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and being sensitive to the voice and leading of the Holy Spirit.

    Hello Pastor Matt…my name is Pastor Lewis Craig Cottrell, USMC and you son, happen to be one of the most gracious, humble and most sincere proclaimers of God’s word that I have ever known. When I would talk to your Mom Ms JoAnne, and you would talk to my Mom Queen Esther. they would ALWAYS make it right and tell us the truth because they were annointed. I will never forget when we were out of our minds by the infiltrators of the truth of the Living God, we STILL talked about the glory of God didn’t we, and Matt that was the majority of our conversions about the attacks by the adversary and what were going to do to be better.. I wrote Condemed Santa on the wall, but you it was a emoji of satan. Most people around us thought we were weird. Matt, much given, much required… you are peculiar, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light; 1 Peter 2:9.
    I love you my friend…before I leave this earth, the Masters told me to share a gift and blessing, and sent me to YOU.
    If Yashua came bake right now, where would he go…to the worst places known, because he talked abou of the Scribes (Lawyers), Pharasees (religious fakers and shkers) and the Saducees (the story tellers and liars)
